Creation Wines teams up with Ellis of Richmond
South African wine brand Creation Wines has named Ellis of Richmond as its UK distributor.
Situated on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge near the coastal resort of Hermanus in the Western Cape, the company has made wines under the Creation and Whale Pod labels since 2006.
Ellis of Richmond, run by the Ellis family since 1822, supplies niche wines to a number of top restaurants, as well as independent and multiple retailers. Its range comprises almost 1,000 wines from 150 producers, 35 of which are exclusive.
"We are delighted to be joining forces with Ellis of Richmond and believe that both our Creation and Whale Pod brands will be in great and trusted hands.
“We’re looking forward to further exposing our wines on an international level and to maximising the potential of our new partnership”, said Creation co-owner Carolyn Martin.
