The QV Bar arrives at Quo Vadis
Quo Vadis owners Sam and Eddie Hart will launch The QV Bar at the famous London restaurant and members club in January.
The new bar opens on 5 January, located on the ground floor next to the restaurant on Dean Street in Soho. Its drinks list will be overseen by mixologist Paul Mant, who has already spent several years creating innovative cocktails for Quo Vadis members.
The QV Bar has teamed up with vodka brand Ketel One to create a series of unique house serves, complete with bespoke silver cocktail shakers and glasses.
A copper surface along the bar is inspired by the traditional copper pot still which is used in the creation of Ketel One at the Nolet Distillery in Holland.
The food offering will include a small number of less formal dishes from the restaurant menu along with several new bar dishes. These include salt cod fritters with tartar sauce, a Montgomery cheddar and smoked Trealy ham toasted sandwich, and the QV burger with triple-cooked chips.
Guests will also be able to celebrate the new venue with Oyster Hour, from 5.30-6.30pm, when half a dozen oysters and a glass of Champagne will be available for £5.
