Majestic launches commercial division
Majestic has launched a wholly dedicated division to corporate business, Majestic Commercial, which will specialise in on-trade caterers, businesses and event organisers.
Aiming to capitalise on “the importance of our commercial customers”, Majestic Commercial has been launched following a period of business growth for its corporate division, a department which had previously suffered during the recession, as Steve Lewis, Majestic’s chief executive, told the drinks business last week.
Lewis added: “Majestic Commercial represents another chapter in the growth of our business.”
The launch coincides with a number of enhancements to Majestic’s commercial business, including the launch of a special website for commercial customers, www.majesticcommercial.co.uk.
The site will provide customers with their own login details, allowing them to view the store’s range of exclusive commercial wines, as well as latest news and special offers. Customers who spend over £1,000 a month will also be allocated their own dedicated account manager.
As a further incentive and on the back of feedback from customers, Majestic is offering its Confidence in Wine staff training programme to customers too.
Majestic Commercial clients will also receive a brochure (pictured) to introduce all these services. Mark Reynolds, the company’s commercial sales director, said in his brochure introduction: “The Majestic brand is built on knowledge, quality, choice enthusiasm, innovation and fantastic value for money.”
