Wareing to open St Pancras brasserie
Marcus Wareing is to open his next restaurant at London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
The Gilbert Scott, named after the building’s architect, will be a British brasserie with a seating capacity of 120.
Located in the entrance hall, the site will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and supper and the bar area will contain an additional 52 seats.
Wareing himself will remain focused on his Michelin-starred venture in Knightsbridge, the Berkeley.

The running of the Gilbert Scott will instead be left to Wareing’s protegé, Chantelle Nicholson.
The site is due to open on 5 May 2011 alongside the hotel, which has been undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme for its 245 bedrooms, 38 suites, 350-capacity ballroom, club, barbers shop, spa and swimming pool.
