Cask Marque goes Dutch
Heineken UK has signed up as a corporate member of cask ale accreditation scheme Cask Marque.
In an effort to improve the quality of all draught beer, not merely cask, the brewer is to place Cask Marque at the forefront of its on-trade focus and beer quality programme which it launched earlier this year.
Heineken UK’s on-trade managing director, Lawson Mountstevens, said: “We would urge all brewers to join in an industry approach dedicated to improving the quality of all draught beer and maximising its unique on-trade benefits in 2011.”
