Help for Heroes silent auction enters final hours
There’s just over a day left to bid for an extraordinary and unique array of fine wines online with all proceeds going to the fantastic charity Help for Heroes.
Just log onto Bid for Wine by close of play tomorrow to pick up a range of labels such as 2001 Gilles Barge Côte Rôtie ‘Cuvée du Plessy’ or a magnum of 2004 Cuvée Frederic Emile Riesling.
As the drinks business has already reported, 100% of the proceeds go towards Help for Heroes, which offers physical, emotional and financial support for wounded serviceman and women and their families.
The auction includes a broad range of rare wines such as a case of 2003 Vouvray, Le Haut Lieu, demi-sec non greffé from Domaine Huët, 1995 Château Grand Puy Lacoste, Pauillac, and for sports fans, methuselahs of Moët & Chandon NV signed by Andrew Strauss and the Harlequins rugby squad.
