Food and wine focus on new website
French wine brand La Châsse is using its new website and a partnership with Le Creuset to educate consumers on food and wine parings for Rhône Valley and Languedoc products.
Launched last month, the website features a number of dishes from Rhône chef Cyril Glemot, which can be paired with wines from the southern regions.
The aim is to showcase the two region’s versatility when it comes to matching their wines with a variety of dishes, both at home and in restaurants.
The tie-in with Le Creuset offers consumers the chance to win £500 worth of Le Creuset cookware. Competition neck collars will be appearing on all La Châsse products in supermarkets across the UK until February 2011.
As part of what is hoped will be a long marketing relationship between the two French brands, Le Creuset will be listing recipes on the La Châsse site and winemaker Véronique Torcolacci will be posting wine recommendations on Le Creuset’s website.
