New terroirs for restaurant team
London restaurant Terroirs is to open a new venue in the East End.
The 70-cover site, called Brawn, will be located in Columbia Road and, due to it being housed in a former warehouse, interiors feature large windows and exposed brickwork.
While the new restaurant is named after a traditional English recipe for potted pig’s head – less tantalisingly called head cheese – the menu will have strong French and Mediterranean influences as well, just like Terroirs.
The wine list will also focus heavily on biodynamic wines.
Ed Wilson (pictured), chef proprietor of Terroirs, will be overseeing the launch of the new restaurant with his business partners Eric Narioo and Oli Barker. Owen Kenworthy will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Brawn is set to open its doors in November.
