WSTA conference to focus on market opportunities
This year’s Wine & Spirit Trade Association conference aims to highlight the challenges and opportunities facing the drinks industry in the UK and travel retail markets.
Taking place in London on 15 September, speakers include Majestic CEO Steve Lewis and Asda’s new BWS director, Adrian McKeon.
The conference, which will be hosted by WSTA chairman Tim How, will also hear the latest market analysis from the likes of Nielsen and on-trade specialist CGA Strategy.
One session in particular will consider the opportunities in the travel retail sector, with contributions from World Duty Free’s head of buying Fraser Dunlop and Neil Towns from P&O Ferries.
“This is a great opportunity to hear from some of the leading figures in the trade as the industry faces fresh challenges and a new legislative agenda under the coalition government,” said WSTA chief executive Jeremy Beadles.
The WSTA Annual Conference will be held on Wednesday, 15 September, at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, London W1J 9LN.
