Tuaca hits the road

Tuaca is taking to the streets this summer as the Brighton-born liqueur looks to recruit a new generation of consumers.

The Tuaca Riders sampling team will visit 19 towns and cities across the UK over the coming weeks, offering free chilled shots served on bespoke Tuaca-branded surfboard trays, as well as Tuaca flip-flops and take-home cards.

The crew has already turned heads in Brighton, Bournemouth, Croydon and London before heading off down to Cornwall later this week.

Fans of the drink will be directed from the take-home card to find out about other prizes on offer through clicking the ‘like’ button on the Tuaca facebook page: facebook.com/tuacaliqueur.

This activity aims to firm-up Tuaca’s popularity among snowboarding and surfing enthusiasts, following its sponsorship of the Relentless Boardmasters Festival and the Free Sports on 4Freeze Festival in 2009.

Charlotte Ashburner, senior brand manager for Tuaca at Brown-Forman, said: “Although Tuaca’s roots will always remain in Brighton, we are looking forward to bringing a free taste of Tuaca across the UK and exposing the brand to new consumers in our key regions.”
