Oxford Wine Company branches out
The Oxford Wine Company has set its expansion plans in motion with the acquisition of a new site in Oxfordshire.
The new store, which is set to open July, will incorporate improved interactive facilities for customers as well as a Fine Wine section.
Managing director Ted Sandbach said that the convenient location and the plans to install a tasting bar (allowing customers to try before they buy), will ensure The Oxford Wine Company is “the only independent wine merchant within easy reach of central Oxford.”
The shop will be managed by Sam Hellyer, former manager of Oddbins in Oxford’s High Street.
The company’s website states that the move is an integral part of the company’s intension to expand even further in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.
