Champagne sticks with London City Bond
London City Bond, the UK wine and spirits logistics provider, has extended its contract with Champagne Laurent-Perrier.
The London warehouse will continue to provide bonded warehousing from its facility in the city’s Tilbury Docks and nationwide distribution to Laurent-Perrier’s customers.
The logistics provider handles 300 product lines for Laurent-Perrier, which are imported from France to Tilbury Docks. David Hesketh MW, managing director of Laurent-Perrier, said: "London City Bond is a natural partner for Laurent-Perrier.
"As the creator of one of the world’s most esteemed Champagne brands, we need a logistics provider that can match the quality of our products."
Alf Allington, managing director of London City Bond, said: “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to build on the partnership we have established with Laurent-Perrier. It reflects our overriding commitment to providing a high quality logistics service, which is a pre-requisite in the fine wines sector.”
