New Sainsbury’s wine buyer
Supermarket Sainsbury’s has bolstered its wine department with the appointment of a new buyer, David Peek.
Peek, who has previously worked at Majestic, Tesco and WaverleyTBS, takes up his new position in June.
Speaking of Peek’s appointment, Justin James, category manager for beers, wines and spirits at Sainsbury’s, said: “I’m really looking forward to David joining the team and think we’ve found the perfect candidate to help us deliver our wine vision for the future.“
Peek will assume responsibility for Champagne and sparkling wine, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
