Hall & Woodhouse plans new brewery
Dorset-based regional brewer Hall & Woodhouse has unveiled plans for a new £5million brewery on its existing Blandford St.Mary site.
Work on the new brewery will begin in October and the brewery is keen to assuage drinker’s fears that the premium ales will change in flavour and character.
Mark Woodhouse, vice chairman of Hall & Woodhouse, confirmed that the process, recipes and ingredients, including Dorset spring water, will remain the same.
“Hall & Woodhouse has been brewing Badger ales for over 225 years and this exciting new development ensures we will be doing so for many more generations to come,” he said.
“I believe an investment of this magnitude also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to brewing and to the continued growth of our premium bottled and cask ales.”
