New luxxury club to open

Luxx, London’s newest boutique club is set to open on 19 February at 3 New Burlington Place, Mayfair. The creation of Luca Maggiora, Luxx will open its doors just a stone’s throw from his former nightclub, Maddox.

Designating itself as a non-members only venue, Luxx plans to keep the VIP feel by filling its 200-capacity space on an invitation-only basis.

The interior has been designed by Italian architect Rossella Stina for a minimalist, elegant feel, with a glass runway of light stretching right through the club providing the centrepiece. The non-members crowd can also enjoy a private walled garden, which has been incorporated into the club’s layout.

The wine, Champagne and eclectic cocktail list has been put together by general manager Andreas Jackson, formerly the manager at Cuckoo Club.

Music comes courtesy of a state-of-the-art ATC sound system and global collection of DJs, with a line-up featuring both well-established and up-and-coming names.

Open Wednesday to Saturday nights, it’s time to start angling for that invitation.
