Moët thinks pink
It’s February, so cue an influx of Valentine-themed brand activity. Among the classier options, Moët & Chandon is orchestrating a particularly romantic on-trade push this month.
The Champagne brand has joined forces with several of London’s most high profile venues to give its rosé a flying start to the year.
The Mandarin Oriental hotel will offer Moët Rosé paired with luxury pink biscuits from Fossier, the gourmet biscuit maker from Reims. Meanwhile throughout February the bars in both the Royal Albert Hall’s Grand Tier and celebrity haunt Boujis will have a Moët Rosé theme.
The brand is also supporting this drive with off-trade activity in the form of a range of limited edition, Cupid-themed gift boxes available in top-end retail outlets, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Waitrose.
Sally Warmington, marketing director at Moët Hennessy UK, explained: “Moët & Chandon continues to be a driving force in the Champagne market.
"With the innovative Cupid gifting and presence in some of the most desirable venues in the capital, we anticipate a great start to the year for Moët Rosé.”
