Cox brothers team up for charity
A unique New World wine tasting in the UK recently raised over £1,500 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Andrew Cox, corporate fundraiser for the Surrey-based hospice, asked his brothers David, director for Europe at New Zealand Wine, and Michael, UK director at Wines of Chile, to participate in a special tasting of New Zealand and Chilean wines, in order to raise money and awareness for the charity.
Held at the Frimley Hall Hotel in Camberley, with an attendance of around 100, five different wine styles from each country were presented by David and Michael. Guests were then able to compare and score each wine points out of five.
