Wine.com launches iPhone App
Internet retailer wine.com has launched a free iPhone Application to help customers find the perfect bottle.
The App allows consumers to browse the US store’s 45,000-bottle cellar as well as saving them and creating personalised wish lists.
The App also includes recommendation lists for 90+ point-rated wines that are priced under US$20 as well as a facility to see how much of a mark up has been made on one of its wine that customers find in a restaurant.
Wine.com recently released its application programming interface (API), an interface implemented by a software programme to enable third-party developers to create and enhance wine applications connecting to the site’s e-commerce and wine database platform.
