There something inside Bombay Sapphire

Bombay Sapphire gin has launched a new global advertising campaign celebrating the quality of the spirit inside the iconic translucent blue glass bottle.

The new campaign, entitled There’s Something Inside, is designed to “showcase the worldliness and sophistication of Bombay Sapphire gin”.

The taste of Bombay Sapphire is created by infusing the spirit vapour with a unique combination of aromatic botanicals, including fruits, herbs and spices sourced from exotic locations around the world.

Each botanical makes a vital contribution to the taste of  Bombay Sapphire, aiding its mixability credentials. It’s for this reason that these natural botanicals play a starring role in the new global print campaign.
 
Each execution is created from a series of images which invite consumers to discover more about them by looking ‘inside’.

These images include pictures of each botanical alongside portraits of individuals from different creative fields. The first two individuals to be featured in the campaign are British lawyer turned menswear designer, Duncan Quinn, and New York based tabla protégé, Suphala. The ‘tabla’ is one of the world’s most complex percussion instruments.  
 
Raquel Faria, Bombay Sapphire global marketing manager, said: “Bombay Sapphire wouldn’t be Bombay Sapphire without its beautiful blue bottle. And the same can be said about its 10 botanical ingredients which is why we are talking about each one of them in the new campaign and inviting consumers to discover the taste of the spirit inside the iconic bottle.
 
“We were the first gin to highlight all of our botanicals by listing each of them and their provenance on the bottle. We genuinely spare no expense sourcing the finest botanicals from around the world and by naming the provenance of each we are guaranteeing that we won’t compromise on their quality. We believe that kind of commitment to quality is important to today’s consumer.”
 
There’s Something Inside has launched in select European markets before being rolled out across the rest of the world in 2010.
