Bath Ales drives Graze craze
Bath Ales has opened a New York-inspired steakhouse in a prime city centre site in Bristol. The Graze Bar & Chophouse aims to feed consumer demand for casual dining options, while offering the West Country brewer the opportunity to showcase its ales beyond the traditional pub setting.
Located in Queen Square, the venue seats around 80 people, with plenty of additional bar space for those who just fancy a good quality pint.
This is the place to come and discover the brewery’s range of cask ales, which includes amber ale Gem, the dark bitter Barnstormer and organic pale ale Natural Blonde.
Robin Couling, retail operations manager for Bath Ales, explained: “The concept for Graze is a sophisticated take on the British pub and combines superb cask ales, wines and spirits with a no nonsense menu of quality British and European cooking.”
He outlined a menu which, in addition to its core offer of top quality, carefully sourced meat, includes lighter options such as mushrooms and kidneys on toast or fish soup.
Bath Ales brewery is based in Warmley, between Bath and Bristol. The Graze Bar & Chophouse marks a departure from the brewery’s existing portfolio of nine traditional pubs located around the two cities.
