East London independent launch

A new independent store has opened in London’s East End. Bottle Apostle will offer 32 different wines to taste daily at the Victoria Park store thanks to its Enomatic machine.

As well as a large selection of wines to taste, the store confirms it will feature around “40 new wines every month” some of which will be exclusive to the store as well as “hard to find” spirits, specialist beers, stemware and accessories.

The store’s general manager Tom Jarvis said: “Our goal is to make buying wine interesting, easy and good fun. At Bottle Apostle you can school yourself about the world of wine or just buy a bottle safe in the knowledge that you’ll love it.”

The store, which enjoyed a soft-launch at the end of August, will host tasting events every Wednesday evening at the shop’s premises where every session will tackle a different topic.

Andrew Eakin owns Bottle Apostle, which will also have a mail order business through its website, www.bottleapostle.com, when it is launched in December.
