Virgin Wines launches new club
Virgin Wines is about to launch justREDS, its new club which will consist of wines selected exclusively by Daily Mail wine columnist Matthew Jukes. The club will be launched at the retailer’s fifth annual tasting for customers next month.
Jay Wright, managing director of Virgin Wines, said: "We are aware that many of our customers are red wine fans, so we’ve tailored our new justREDS wine club around them.
"Customers receive a case every quarter, all hand picked by wine writer Matthew Jukes.
"The justREDS club compliments our existing Discovery Wine Club and our WineBank."
Virgin Wines’ National Wine Tasting 2009 will take place on 3 October and is hoping to attract 1,200 customers to its one day extravaganza in Westminster, London, where 200 wines will be available to taste.
The tasting, which will be attended by winemakers and Virgin Wines’ buyer, Andrew Baker, will be supported by Godminster, Estate Bottled Foods, Olives Et Al, Gorvett and Stone and The Beer Club.
Tickets cost £25 and can be bought by visiting www.virginwines.com/tasting2
