Bowmore unleashes a tempest
Bowmore is set to launch a new, limited edition release, called Bowmore Tempest.
The Islay single malt distillery will unveil this latest offering on 14 September, with just 2,000 cases available.
Bowmore Tempest is the product of a 10 years’ maturation in first-fill Bourbon casks. The name comes from the famously stormy waves which batter Loch Indaal, right next to the vaults where the whisky was stored.
Kirsteen Beeston, marketing manager for Bowmore, described the finished product as “a balanced yet complex dram that really captures the spirit of the distillery on Islay and the craftsmanship that has been applied to make this beautiful tasting single malt.”
Bowmore Tempest will be available from leading whisky specialists and selected retailers at an RRP of £39.99.
