Krug introduces Treasure Box without increasing cost
Krug has introduced a new and elaborate gift box for its Grand Cuvée but without increasing its recommended retail price.
The latest piece of outer packaging, called Treasure Box, is a two-piece white chest with a gold clasp and padlock.
The chests are lined with beveled mirrors and part to reveal a bottle of Krug Grand Cuvée on one side and two engraved flutes on the other.
The gift box will be available in London’s Selfridges from the end of October, priced at £130, which is the same price as Krug Grand Cuvée in its current cardboard retail packaging.
