Chicago auction contains impressive collection
Hart Davis Hart are auctioning an impressive private cellar at Tru restaurant in Chicago on 12 September, featuring 1134 lots, including a selection of Bordeaux from 1982, 1990 and 2000 vintages as well as a large selection of Burgundy from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
The value of the auction is estimated at $1.8 to $2.7 million.
Further wines from this prominent collector include Harlan Estate, and Sine Qua Non as well as magnum cases of Château Pétrus 1982 and 1971 La Tâche in bottle, magnum and two rare jeroboams.
For Madeira collectors there are rare bottlings from the 1795, 1802, and 1920 vintages.
