Tesco wine fair targets ten thousand
Tesco is hoping 10,000 visitors will cross its Wine Fair threshold this autumn as the annual event is rolled out across four UK locations: Bristol, Edinburgh, London and Manchester.
The event, now in its sixth year, will showcase a selection of 250 wines and a variety of wine workshops hosted by experts including suppliers, the Tesco wine team and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, while customers will be encouraged to place orders on the day through the supermarket’s discount incentive.
Nick Juby, product development manager for Tesco.com said: "No other supermarket offers such a great chance to discover and taste wines which not only offers the chance for people to learn from industry insiders, but also allows us to communicate face to face with our customers.”
The event is open to Tesco Wine Club members and tickets cost £10.
