Berberana uncorks consumer loyalty scheme

Berberana is launching an innovative consumer loyalty scheme. Under the “One Cork One Point” offer, every bottle purchase will generate points for the customer, which can then be redeemed via the Rioja brand’s website for one of 14 different rewards.

In return for their brand loyalty, customers can enjoy food and wine tastings, restaurant meals and luxury hotel breaks. Included in this is the chance to dine at the Durius River Café, the restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola, who was recently appointed Berberana’s brand ambassador.
The initiative has been developed as a means of encouraging brand loyalty, while offering consumers added value and driving traffic to the newly revamped Berberana website.
James Craig-Wood, communications manager for United Wineries, which owns Berberana, commented: “During the recession, consumers are increasingly looking to the security, value for money, quality and consistency that brands provide. As the leading supplier of branded Spanish wines in the UK, we wanted to give them something extra. The One Cork One Point scheme offers them added value and rewards their loyalty whilst also supporting retailers at point of purchase.”
