Freixenet’s Great Nights In

Freixenet has launched a summer on-pack promotion to tap into the current British trend of drinking at home rather than going out.

Taking place throughout the months of July and August, Freixenet Great Nights In will offer consumers the chance to win a variety of prizes including a voucher to redeem a free bottle of Freixenet Cava; 35 free music tracks to be chosen from a selection of 5 million or a specially compiled Freixenet Mix playlist from eMUSIC; a 30-day free trial with unlimited access to 65,000 films; 20 free prints and a 15 x 10cm collage poster and a free make-over and lip gloss.

All these prize come courtesy of Freixenet’s promotional partnerships including Lovefilm.com, eMUSIC, Virgin Vie and Snapfish.

Freixenet will promote the scheme using neck-rings on a range of the brand’s wines including Cordon Negro Brut, Cordon Negro Medium Dry and Cordon Rosado. To claim the prize, customers log on to the promotion’s specially designed website, www. freixenet.co.uk/greatnightsin and enter the code provided on the neck-rings.

Talking of the new campaign, Natalia Celemin, Freixenet’s brand manager said: ““Everyone is talking about staying at home this summer. Freixenet Great Nights In provides the off-trade with a unique value-added promotion. It looks good on the shelf, is perfect to attract the Freixenet Cava target market and will encourage purchase – ensuring everyone can celebrate a fantastic British summer at home, whatever the weather!”
