Riedel launches double decanter
Riedel Crystal has developed a new decanter that’s over half a metre tall and is capable of decanting a wine twice.
On launching the new product, Riedel said: “The long slender neck of the decanter allows the wine to breathe as it descends to the curved base.”
In order to decant the wine properly, the device must be turned until a portion of the wine falls into the curve of the neck, making a glugging sound as it does so.
The decanter costs £360 and comes with an instrution DVD, narrated by its designer, Maximilian Riedel.
Riedel added: “The Eve decanter is innovative and exceptional in both form and function.”
