Berk to step down at Constellation
Constellation brands has announced that Andy Berk is to retire from his post as president and CEO of Constellation Services.
Constellation confirmed last week that Berk, who is on the executive management committee at the drinks giant, will leave his post on 31 May.
Berk, who was appointed CEO of Constellation Beers and Spririts in 2003, will continue to serve on the board of directors at Crown Imports, Constellation’s joint venture with Mexico-based Grupo Modelo, and will remain with Constellation for one year in a consultancy capacity.
In addition to his work with Constellation, Berk has been active in various industry trade associations, including a stint of just under three years as chairman of Distilled Spirits Council of the United States and managing director of The Century Council.
