High profile redundancy at HwCg
HwCg will be parting company with Laura Jewell MW. Her departure at the end of April will mark one of several redundancies currently being made across the business in response to current difficulties posed by the economic downturn. Jewell has been with British-based HwCg for nearly three years as agency director.
In a statement, Helen Munday, marketing and PR director for HwCg, released the following statement: "HwCg is not alone among UK based companies in having to make some redundancies in the light of the current economic conditions. We, like the rest of the trade, have been affected by the general economic downturn. Whilst we will continue to provide our customer focused services, realising opportunities and solutions with customers and clients, like all good businesses there has been a need to look at the structure of the company and streamline and align costs accordingly”.
