Adamson to leave NZ Winegrowers
Warren Adamson is to leave his post as UK and Europe director at New Zealand Winegrowers to take up a new role at Craggy Range Vineyards. (Find this role advertised in our recuitment section here )
Mr Adamson, who has worked in the New Zealand wine industry since 2005, will replace Michael Henley as European sales director at Craggy Range from 1 June 2009.
Speaking ahead of his imminent switch, Mr Adamson said: “My new role with Craggy Range pulls together everything I have learned from my 15 years in the New Zealand wine industry and presents the perfect opportunity to return to my commercial roots.”
Terry Peabody Jnr, managing director, sales and marketing at Craggy Range Vineyards, added: “It is very important for Craggy Range to have one of our own people based permanently in the market to ensure all our valuable customers have a local contact point.
“Warren is a proud New Zealander with a great understanding of the UK and European wine markets. In his role with us, we are expecting him to talk about New Zealand wines as a whole as much as the wines of Craggy Range and the newly re-branded Wild Rock.”
Michael Henley, meanwhile, will return to New Zealand in July to take up a wine ambassadorial and marketing role for Craggy Range.
