Melissa Draycott to leave Sainsbury’s
Melissa Draycott has confirmed she will be leaving Sainsbury’s later this month. She takes up a new post in February as head of wine buying for First Quench Retailing, the company which owns Threshers and Wine Rack.
The move is understood to form part of a wider restructure within First Quench.
Draycott joined Sainsbury’s 19 years ago and has spent six years in her current role as the supermarket’s senior wine buyer. “It’s time for a change,” she commented on her departure and confirmed she would remain at Sainsbury’s until 23 January.
