Pernod Ricard offers Christmas tips
Pernod Ricard UK has launched its biggest ever targeted spirits marketing campaign, aimed at helping consumers with the two great drinks dilemmas at Christmas – what to buy your loved ones as a present, and what drinks to serve your family and friends.
The company has teamed up with some of the UK’s leading retailers. The campaign will launch with advertising in magazines from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose, Morrison’s and Musgrave, the magazine of the Musgrave Group which operates retailers Budgens and Londis in the UK.
The print advertising campaign aims to solve the problem of what drinks gift to buy your loved ones by showcasing the range of gift boxes that Pernod Ricard UK will be offering this Christmas.
In addition to this, specially-created videos will be hosted on Tesco.com. These will give easy-to-follow demonstrations on how to create Christmas cocktails and mixed drinks at home. If a customer likes a particular recipe, they can add all of the necessary ingredients into their online shopping basket on the same page.
The videos have been made in association with the Worldwide Cocktail Club and feature Gregor de Gruyther, a veteran bartender who has worked in London cocktail bars like Ronnie Scott’s and Lab bar.
Dan Reuby, head of marketing for spirits at Pernod Ricard UK said: "This campaign is designed to educate and guide [consumers] whether they’re investing in a special bottle to sit under the tree or looking for a warming cocktail to sip by the fire."
