French unleash Le Beast
The launch of a new French brand from the Languedoc Roussillon is being supported by an online campaign that tells the story of Le Beast, a creature that is said to have terrorised south-eastern France in the 1760s. The range, consisting of six wines will be available at the end of October via Clink! Wines.
Two teaser videos have been launched so far, setting the scene for the story of Le Beast. The creature apparently goes into hibernation for 250 years, waking this year and lamenting the state of French wine. He vows to remedy the situation by launching his own range, consisting of three white and three red wines.
The range is being targeted at both on- and off-trade, in France, UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the US, with an RRP in the UK of £6.99.
