Management changes at Future Brands
A greater emphasis on premium brands and the on-trade is motivation for a range of management changes at Future Brands, the US distribution arm for Beam Global and the Absolut Spirits Company. Central to these is the creation of a new role for Tim Condron, previously vice president for sales control states.
Condron has been appointed vice president for on-premise national accounts, and charged with developing a sales team specifically for superpremium drinks in the Future Brands portfolio.
Condron’s role as vice president for control states will now be handled by Steve Bjeldanes, who is moving from Beam Global’s regional marketing group.
Other management changes include Mike Glennon, who was vice president of customer management, and now heads the off-trade, as well as Matt Metz, who was vice president for distributor strategy and planning, and becomes vice president for the central region.
Finally, Kevin Cooke, who comes from Beam Global, is now vice president, distributor strategy and planning for Future Brands.
"This new structure will broaden Future Brands’ capability, putting greater emphasis on our luxury and on-premise businesses," said Bill Newlands, president of Beam’s US business.
