Trentino returns to London
The Royal Opera House will play host to a selection of award-winning wines and grappas from Trentino on February 26 10.00am-4.30pm. The event will be the second annual London tasting for the northern Italian region, and will feature 25 producers and include a masterclass matching Trento DOC sparkling wines to Michelin starred Trentino cuisine hosted by Peter McCombie MW 2.30pm-3.30pm. Visitors to the tasting are guaranteed to enjoy only the very finest that the region has to offer. This year, in order to be featured the wines and spirits had to win an award from the latest edition of Italy’s five leading guides, then be approved by an independent panel of experts from Trentino and Alto Adige. To coincide with its recent rebranding and new global communications campaign, Trentodoc, the sparkling method Champenois will be the focus of this year’s masterclass.
The event will also feature a tasting of regional food specialities.
