Marketing push for Cobra

Cobra beer is on the cusp of a major marketing drive, having recently announced the appointment of two new agencies: design specialist Landor will be reviewing all labels and packaging, and Manning Gottlieb OMD is coordinating the brand’s media strategy.

Cobra aims to continue its meteoric growth, with marketing director Will Ghali confirming that the brand is planning a £14 million marketing spend in 2008. The ambitious brand grew by 30% in 2007, and is aiming to secure a further 20,000 on-trade listings by next year.
