Johncox named as new Waverley MD

Waverley TBS, the UK’s number one independent drinks wholesaler, has named Gordon Johncox as its new managing director. The appointment is with immediate effect, with Johncox switching from his previous role as group procurement director for Scottish & Newcastle.

Johncox has built up a wealth of experience in the drinks trade having served in a range of different positions for S&N including MD of Courage West and Wales and trading director of all the major trading channels. Commenting on the new opportunity, he said, “WaverleyTBS has a unique opportunity to build on its established strengths and customer base, and I am delighted to be leading the business at such an important time.  I am looking forward to meeting WTBS customers and to working with such great team.”
