Sparkling Yellow Tail goes nationwide
Bubbles, a sparkling version of Australian wine brand Yellow Tail, is being rolled out in the UK market after a successful summer trial. Interestingly, while the brand has already …
… been launched in Australia and Japan, the US market, where Yellow Tail achieved such remarkably rapid sales volumes, will not be getting the fizz until next month.
Yellow Tail Bubbles will be available nationwide in Britain from September when the brand will appear in 184 Waitrose stores. This will coincide with a 25% discount, reducing the price from £6.99 to £5.24.
“Yellow Tail Bubbles has been a huge success in Australia and Japan and we are really excited about launching it into the UK market,” said John Casella, from Australia’s Casella Wines, producers of Yellow Tail. “We now have seven wines available in the UK.”
The latest in the Yellow Tail line-up is tank fermented and is described as having a “tropical fruit” flavour, “medium sweetness”, and a “crisp finish”.
