Two new brand managers at Maxxium
Maxxium has announced the appointments of Andrew Jack as the new brand manager for Plymouth Gin and Linda Sooprayen as brand manager for Rémy Martin. Both will be based at the company’s marketing department, in Stirling, Scotland.
Jack joins the team of recently relaunched brand Plymouth having previously worked in Scottish & Newcastle’s marketing division on brands including Foster’s and San Miguel. “It’s a particularly exciting time for me to adopt the Plymouth Gin brand… following the triumphant relaunch in 2006,” he says.
The Rémy job is Sooprayen’s first role in drinks – her previous experience is in FMCG, working for Reckitt Benkiser and Campbell’s. She explains, “as consumer product knowledge and confidence grows, people are looking to upgrade either drinks to premium products more than ever. It’s a great time to be managing Rémy Martin as there’s real potential to further drive awareness and growth.”
