Police in Staffordshire flushed over £7,000 worth of wine, beer and spirits down the toilet…
The sewers of Staffordshire were running with booze this week, as police flushed over £7,000 worth of wine, beer and spirits down the toilet.
A judge ordered that the unlicensed and out-of-date goods had to be disposed through the waste system, so officers spent three days pouring it into the station lavatory. At the time of writing local rats were unavailable (or unable) to comment.
