A Flying Start
Wine Merchant, The Flying Corkscrew, has entered the world of e-commerce with the launch of its website.
The launch is yet another addition to this expanding Hertfordshire business, which began 10 years ago as a supplier to the on-trade. After initial success, a Flying Corkscrew shop was opened three years ago in order to make its services available to the general public.
After a successful 2005, The Flying Corkscrew’s expertise is now available even more broadly, via the new website. Customers can browse the wine list and put together mixed cases, which can be delivered anywhere in the UK.
The online store also features a variety of beer and spirits for even more consumer choice.
The website lists a wide range of services offered by the company, including cellar consultations, bespoke wine racks, wedding lists and a dinner party service (including food pairing).
Also featured are mixed cases specifically designed for online customers, each focusing on a different country or on an element of The Flying Corkscrew’s range.
