Smaller sizes are providing a point of difference for on-trade brand Pieters Drift by Darlington Wines. It is hoped that the new 75cl and quarter bottles will “enable bars, pubs and restaurants to create a point of difference with quality wines their customers will not find in supermarkets”, says commercial manager, Tim Abraham. The new quarter bottles include a Chenin Blanc and a Pinotage/Cabernet. Other newcomers to the range include a trio of Old Station Reserve wines from California – a Merlot, a Chardonnay and a Blush Zinfandel.
