Waverley hit by Bunsfield blast
Waverley TBS’ Hemel Hempsted site decimated by the Bunsfield petro-chemical plant explosion.
The Waverley TBS Hemel Hempsted site was decimated at the weekend by the Bunsfield petro-chemical plant explosion.Situated close to the plant a Waverley TBS source told The Drinks Business that the damage is said to be "pretty considerable" with all the windows having been impolded and the second floor having collapsed. Fortunately no one from the company was injured and after a briefing at 11am on Monday morning the team from the Hemel Hempsted site were relocated to the company’s Scoottish Courage Staines site where work is now back to normal. All logistics operations have been re-allocated to three of the companies other distribution depots around the country.
