Toffoc is a new toffee-flavoured vodka drink produced in Wales. The beverage was conceived by Dewi Roberts and Padrig Huws of Anglesey, and is inspired by similar après-ski drinks served in the French Alps. Toffoc can be used in a variety of cocktails, such as black and white Russians, and in a number of desserts, such as tiramisu. The company reports that the drink is a growing success, and that even the prime minister has enjoyed it. Mr Blair is reported to have tasted the drink on a visit to the area, saying, “That is fabulous. I think you had better keep that away from me.” Toffoc has sold 25,000 bottles over the past year and is now available in 300 pubs across England and Wales.
