In news announced yesterday Enotria Winecellars has restructured. Founder and chairman for over 30 years, Remo Nardone, who steps down to spend more time with his young family, has sold a majority of the company’s shares to a private financial institution, with options for board members to acquire a substantial shareholding.
The change in ownership of the company comes as Nardone steps down as chairman and appoints new executive chairman Clive Beharrell. Nardone said “This evolution has been my preferred route as it ensures continuity and stability for Enotria’s customers, suppliers and staff, some 90 people (and their families)…” He added that these developments would allow Enotria to continue to grow and in conjunction with future plans will give it’s customers “better overall service”.
