Coors Sponsorship Touches Down

America’s favourite sports event, the NFL (National Football League) has kicked off on both sides of the Atlantic with Coors as official UK sponsor for the second year running.

The brewer has also scored as broadcast sponsor of live TV coverage on Sky of the NFL season and the Super Bowl XL.

Coors has specially created advertising to continue its Epic Refreshment campaign. In total, there will be 21 weekends and 24 nights of branded live coverage, as well as repeats.

Stuart Renshaw, senior brand manager for Coors, says, “Thanks to the Sky coverage, Coors was seen by 1.1 million people from our target audience last year and a total of 8.4m individuals. We are delighted to be supporting the NFL, because the epic dynamism of the Coors brand is a perfect match for the epic scale of NFL.”
