Grouse To Advertise Whole Brood

Scotland’s best-loved whisky, not to mention the nation’s best-loved animated game bird, will be returning to the small screen this Christmas with a £2.75m TV advertising campaign which, for the first time, will feature the entire Famous Grouse portfolio, including The Famous Grouse Malt and The Famous Grouse Liqueur.

The award winning campaign will run nationally during November and December, and comprises three executions named Red Carpet, On Ice and Best Loved, starring the iconic Grouse character. The campaign is designed to build on the succes of the 2004 campaign which saw Famous Grouse become the fastest growing spirit in the off-trade over the Christmas period.

Emma Heath, senior marketing manager for The Famous Grouse, Maxxium UK, says, “This Christmas will be our first portfolio-wide advertising campaign. We’re confident that the new Red Carpet execution will be another hit with consumers. The TV campaign is just part of a highly competitive Christmas promotional plan spanning all trade sectors, signifying our intention to remain one of the UK’s top selling blended whiskies.”
