It was announced this week that Deutsche Post will take over Exel, the UK’s largest logistics company in a deal worth £3.7bn. Whilst Exel’s chief executive John Allan admitted some of his customers had expressed concern about the takeover, a majority were in favour and could identify the potential benefits.
